I had the joy of waking up to the sweet serenades of singing seals while attending craft classes and up-cycling furniture. Breakfast in a basket, a shared lounge, and a variety of homemade goods were just some of the things to enjoy at this hive of activity.
I didn't like the fact that the seals didn't offer to sing on demand, nor did the furniture magically up-cycle itself. How inconvenient!

The location was sick, with amazing views of the lighthouse and chill coastal walks nearby. The rooms were dope, comfy beds and all that. Kate and her fam were super friendly and made us feel hella welcome. The breakfast was on point too, especially those baked treats. Definitely gonna come back for another lit vacay!
Yo, the only thing we wished for was maybe a party zone or somethin'. It's a dope place for chillin' and relaxing, but we teenagers like to turn up and have some fun.

Utterly charming and quaint with a cosy vintage feel - warm welcome in a secluded and romantic lighthouse and beach location. Amazing food and crafty stuff for sale. Home cooked everything from English breakfast to homemade jams and muffins. Cosy shared lounge with fairy lights and vintage cabinetry. Info on island attractions, fully stocked tea/coffee/sugar/milk and cookies. Perfect boiling hot water in bath and shower. Super cosy rooms with lighthouse views. Gorgeous dining room with a view. My favorite corner of Islay, with a historic feel in the air. Beautiful coastal path and quaint pub nearby. Stunning location away from crowds, seals at the doorstep. Spotlessly clean room with necessary amenities. Warm and welcoming hosts, with a curious and charming daughter. Well stocked guest lounge with games and yummy baked goods. Fantastic location adding to the charm. Entertainment by seals outside our window. Marvellous B&B with fond memories. Homemade breakfast to die for, amazing view, incredible hospitality. Comfy bed, big bathroom, and muffins.

The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The room was stunning, with a huge comfortable bed and excellent en-suite facilities. The view outside of the Rinns of Islay lighthouse with seals in the bay was absolutely breathtaking. We loved the communal room where we could relax and enjoy a tea or coffee. The homemade breakfasts were out of this world, and the packed breakfasts for days out were a great touch. The location was perfect, with beautiful coastal walks and a lovely beach nearby. We can't wait to return in the future!

I recently stayed in a B&B on the western part of Islay and it was lovely. The room was extremely clean and comfortable with all the necessary amenities. What I enjoyed the most was the stunning view of the lighthouse and seals just outside my window. The location was perfect, secluded from the crowds but still accessible. The owners were very welcoming and hospitable, providing delicious homemade breakfast options and a cozy guest lounge equipped with games and complimentary tea and coffee.
I would say the only downside to my stay was the lack of a TV option to catch up on the news. However, I understand the purpose of visiting this beautiful island is to disconnect and immerse oneself in nature.

We enjoyed the excellent breakfast that was offered every morning, and the cozy and warm atmosphere of the guest house. the homemade desserts were fantastical. The inadequate lighting in the room and the lack of a chair. the parking was also inadequate which was a huge inconvenience for us.

I had a very good stay at this hotel on the far western end of Islay. The location was stunning, with beautiful views of the sea and the nearby lighthouse at Orsay. The room was spotlessly clean and had all the necessary amenities. The hotel owners, Kate and Thomas, were lovely hosts and made me feel very welcome. They provided delicious packed breakfasts every morning, which I enjoyed while sitting by the shore. It was a great value for the money and I would definitely return in the future.
No significant improvements needed, all was okay.
